BUMPITY BUMP!
So, I've been meaning to get back into music for a while after all the fun we had last year. And lo and behold, just a few days ago one of my good friends came over to lend me her acoustic guitar. Not just out of the goodness of her heart, rather so that I can practice for my musical duties at her upcoming wedding.
Any which way, this reminded me that we kinda got started on talking about the next Liminal Band working. So here's a thread for that. I'll try and past over some of the chat from the previous thread, so that we can refer back without crossing threads all the time.
But first of all I'd like an informal show of hands. I'm in, WHO'S WITH ME?
Okay, so here's where we got to back in Spring.

Green Man, Hunter/ess, the Wee Folk. Plenty of room for natural sounds and olde instruments. I've got a mandolin and bodhran...and chain saw.
The planets. Either individually or the whole system.
Ancient Mysteries. Anything from Willendorf to The Gnostics.
The Dark Side (and I don't mean LFC, Grotto ;-)
Folk magic/hoodoo/cunning folk.
Possession/trance/states of consciousness. From the Shaman's throat warbling to the rhythms of Africa and America via ceremonial Names of Power.

Looks like there's 2 front runners, so far. Trees/vegetation and order/chaos/balance

Princess said: These could work together. A sort of forest vs. civilisation theme. Different types of order, and how chaos is really just order that you don't understand.
